Welcome to our first Update! I wanted to thank you for signing up for Plan Together! Urban housing, layout, design and transportation are some of the most crucial issues of our time. You’ve joined the mission to make our homes, cities, towns, communities and lives better. Using a collaborative map, Plan Together hopes to change the culture of apathy around urban issues and empower citizens, planners and governments into moving forward.

I will be sending this newsletter out periodically to keep you updated on how the platform is doing. Growing a community is not easy. Right now, Plan Together is in a fragile place. Without nurturing it will wilt. That is why I hope you can help during this important phase. Contribute what you can and share with others. I know we’ll create something amazing together.

First Week Hi-lights

• We opened the platform to the public; first groups of users have started contributing. Thank you all! We opened a twitter account: @plantogethermap and gained 456 followers! Please follow for updates, neat pictures and map items.
• First Huge Success: The City of Calgary saw one of our posts and replied: City of Calgary Tweet
• We added the option of Google Sign-On for new accounts to make it easier to join.
